Rate Case Applications

As the utility regulator, the DCPSC works to ensure that utility rates in the District of Columbia are just and reasonable. A rate case proceeding is the formal process conducted by the Commission when a utility company files an application requesting an increase in rates due to rising costs to provide utility service.
