Pursuant to the CleanEnergy DC Omnibus Amendment Act of 2018 (D.C. Law 22-257), effective March 22, 2019, the Commission is no longer able to process applications for facilities that are not within the PJM Interconnection region.

Please be advised that As Built Construction Drawings must  accompany each RPS application for solar energy systems.   ‚Äč

Pursuant to Commission Rule 2903.4(a), any renewable energy system which is certified by January 29, 2021 (as January 30 and 31 fall on Saturday and Sunday this year) can produce District compliance-eligible Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) and Solar RECs (SRECS) starting January 1, 2020.  Each year, the Commission receives an increased number of RPS certification applications in December and January as companies seek to get solar energy systems certified prior by the end of January.
