Five suppliers participated in Pepco’s Standard Offer Service (SOS) auction held in December 2023 and January 2024. There were four winning suppliers in the auction who will be supplying electricity to Pepco to serve SOS customers starting June 1, 2024.
- AEP Energy Partners Inc.
- ConocoPhillips Company
- Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (previously bid as Exelon Generation Company LLC).
- NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC
In total, there will be five suppliers providing electricity for the SOS service year beginning June 1, 2024:
- AEP Energy Partners (under contract from this year’s bidding).
- ConocoPhillips Company (under contract from this year’s bidding).
- Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (under contract from this year’s bidding and from a previous year’s bidding).
- Macquarie Energy LLC (under contract from a previous year’s bidding).
- NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC (under contract from this year’s bidding and from a previous year’s bidding).
