Ahmadou Bagayoko

On November 4, 2015, the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia welcomed back Ahmadou Bagayoko as a Pipeline Safety Engineer. Mr. Bagayoko work experience includes Washington Gas as DOT Compliance Auditor. He assisted the Supervisor of DOT Pipeline Safety with the implementation of a risk based audit approach and also in determining when a blend of training/coaching is an appropriate audit tool. He monitored the audit process relative to personnel safety elements and recommended adjustments as needed. He assessed Compliance by Interpreting codes (49CF Part 192), standards, and regulations (DCMR, COMAR). Prior to working at Washington Gas, Mr. Bagayoko worked for the Public Service Commission as a Pipeline Safety Engineer. He served the Commission for four years.

With his background and experience in natural gas pipeline safety related fields, the Commission anticipates Mr. Bagayoko contributing considerably to the Commission's Pipeline Safety Program. Mr. Bagayoko holds a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Howard University.
