Betty Ann Kane served the District of Columbia in various elected and appointed positions demonstrating her extensive private sector experience in regulatory, administrative and public policy matters. She served on the Public Service Commission first as Commissioner, and subsequently as Chairman from 2007 through December 2018. Tommy Wells, Director of the District’s Department of the Environment and Energy served as the Master of Ceremony for the celebration. D.C. Councilmembers Kenyan McDuffie, Mary Cheh and Robert White were also in attendance.
