By Order No. 22004, the Commission directed Washington Gas Light Company (“WGL”) to prepare materials to present at a technical conference on multiple topics relating to leak management in the District of Columbia. This technical conference will address leak reporting, the use of GIS mapping for leaks, and evaluate the need for public access to recorded and/or repaired leaks.
All persons interested in commenting on GIS mapping methods for recording leaks may submit written comments not later than Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Comments should be filed with the Commission Secretary at
[email protected]. All presentations must be filed with the Commission by Friday, March 6, 2026.
Parties who plan to attend the presentation must notify the Commission in advance, no later than March 10, 2026, by contacting Hunter Davis at
