On April 13, 2023, Pepco (Potomac Electric Power Company’s (“Pepco” or “Company”) submitted its application for approval to increase rates through the implementation of a multi-year rate plan “MRP” for its electric distribution service in the District of Columbia for the years 2024 through 2026. The Commission subsequently opened formal case (FC) 1176 and published a public notice related to Pepco’s rate increase proposal. The Commission issued an order granting intervention status, and the Commission held a scheduling conference on June 13, 2022. The Commission is finalizing an initial procedural schedule thereafter, which may occur after the issuance of this RFP.
