The incumbent in this role is responsible for conducting field and facility inspections and investigations to support the enforcement of federal damage prevention and One Call Notification law and the District of Columbia One Call/Underground Facility Protection law. The Damage Prevention Inspector conducts safety inspections of underground facilities location markings, excavation and demolition sites.
