Please welcome Jerry E. Peterson, our new Consumer Services Specialist in the Office of Consumer Services. Jerry has extensive federal and local government experience, which includes the Department of Defense project support operations, training coordinator, and customer service for the DC government. Jerry comes from the Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs as a Program Support Specialist. He worked in Permits, Occupational License & Professional License, helping residents by providing exemplary customer service addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
Jerry graduated from Norfolk State University with a degree in interdisciplinary studies. He is currently studying for a master's in Adult Education at the University of the District of Columbia. Jerry is an adjunct instructor at the Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter school in Ward 8, Washington DC. He volunteered at the Washington English Center, teaching English to adult immigrants. Jerry loves to travel and spend time with his son and fiance'.
