Earnest Scott

THE COMMISSION WELCOMES EARNEST SCOTT AS THE NEW PIPELINE SAFETY ENGINEER FOR THE OFFICE OF COMPLIANCE & ENFORCEMENT

Earnest Scott joined the Public Service Commission (Commission) on June 11, 2018, as a Pipeline Safety Engineer in the Office of Compliance & Enforcement (OCE). Mr. Scott graduated from Morgan State University with a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Transportation/Geotechnical Engineering.  There he learned about engineering and building foundations, dams, and other substructures.
 
Prior to joining the Commission, Mr. Scott worked as an Engineer Intern for the Naval Sea Systems Command at the Washington Navy Yard for two years. He supported Advanced Weapon Systems development for future ship capability efforts for the United States Navy. He also worked as an Underground Utility Construction Forman with the Emergency Gas Maintenance & Repair office for ten years with the Baltimore Gas & Electric Company.
 
Mr. Scott is married with two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, riding his motorcycle, and working on small home and auto projects.
