The Commission, a leading utility regulatory agency, is looking for a talented Chief, Office of Infrastructure and System Planning with utility or regulatory experience, who can make a professional difference in the Nation’s Capital.

The Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (Commission) regulates electric, natural gas, and local telephone companies serving the District. This position heads the Office of Infrastructure and System Planning (OISP). The Office of Infrastructure and System Planning provides infrastructure, system planning, and engineering expertise in support of the Commission's regulatory activities related to natural gas, electric, and local telecommunications services, including above-ground and underground infrastructure and systems for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity, natural gas, and local telecommunications.

This position has primary responsibility for providing professional engineering and other technical support on all matters relating to the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and replacement of all energy infrastructure and systems utilized by electric, natural gas, and local telephone companies providing services in the District. 

As Chief of the OISP team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing professional engineering and other technical support on all matters relating to the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and replacement of all infrastructure and systems utilized by the electric, natural gas, and local telephone companies in the District.
