EVENT DETAILS

Each summer, the Commission hires interns to work in various areas of energy regulation, including environmental science/policy, law, engineering, economics, communications, and information technology.

The DCPSC is an independent, quasi-judicial agency in the District of Columbia government that serves the public interest by ensuring that financially healthy utility companies provide safe, reliable, and quality utility services at reasonable rates for District customers, while also fostering grid modernization, conservation of natural resources, preservation of environmental quality, and advancement of the District’s climate policy commitments.

Learn more about what it’s like working at the DCPSC.

Apply online with a cover letter (describing why you want to intern at the DCPSC), a resume, three references, and an unofficial transcript.

Applications close April 21, 2025. Please email Sophia Pryce at with any questions.
