In recognition of your service as a leader, we invite you to attend our first annual winter weather preparedness event, Winter Ready DC, to be held on October 6, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at our offices at 1325 G Street NW Suite 800, Washington, DC 20005.

The Commission is concerned that many District families may not be prepared for winter and winter–related events.  To assist DC residents in their preparations, the Commission is hosting this event to bring together utilities, community leaders, consumer advocates, and District agency partners to provide information on preparedness plans and community programs. This event will include presentations regarding utility service reliability and restoration efforts, energy conservation and low-income discount programs.

We believe this event will be very informative and provide you with information that you can share with your constituents.
