On January 1, 2020, seniors and individuals with disabilities may be eligible to receive a credit on their Pepco bill.
The Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia has approved a pilot program to assist seniors and disabled residents with their monthly payments.
$7.50 credit per month on your Pepco electricity service
January 1, 2020
Enrollment is automatic and the credit will appear on your Pepco bill beginning in January and will continue each month.
D.C. seniors and disabled persons receiving both the D.C. Homestead Deduction and the Senior Citizen/Disabled Property Tax Reduction, and do not receive the Pepco Residential Aid Discount (RAD).
