Ms. Margaret Moskowitz becomes the new Senior Consumer Specialist in the Office of Consumer Services. She initially joined the Office of Consumer Services (OCS) as a Consumer Specialist in February of 2006. Prior to her employment with the Commission, she was employed by Starpower Communications, d/b/a RCN, as a Customer Advocate Agent where she handled all complaints, inquiries, mediation and advocacy assignments in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area. In this capacity, Margaret responded to federal and state regulators as well as the local advocate offices. She was also tasked with educating sales, customer service and technical departments on the rules governing telecommunications and cable companies and ensuring regulatory compliance. She has over 15 years of experience in regulatory, mediation and advocacy work and continues to enjoy enhancing her knowledge of the utility industries and serving the public.
